Dracula Has Risen From The Grave (Obviously)

absolutely beautiful piece of design, you'd never guess it was for a low budget hammer horror movie from 1968.

The Invention of Dr. Nakamats

I just watched this documentary of 4oD and it was such an enjoyable experience. Dr Nakamatsu is a Japanese inventor who has over 3,000 patents and is one of the most beautifully eccentric people. One of his most amazing feats is that for over 30 years now he has documented and analyze every meal he has eaten. But thats just the tip of his eccentricity, he choose camera's not because of their tech specs but purely based on smell 'good smell is good camera' I could go on all day about what an amazing and wonderful man Dr Nakamatsu is but really you should just get on 4oD now and watch the bloody documentary I highly recommend it.

More Music

Paul Simon - Kodachrome
Found this record in a charity shop the other day for a pound and rediscovered this amazing Paul Simon song.

Glasser - Home
Glassers debut record only came out a couple of weeks ago but it's managed to worm it's way into heavy rotation on my iPhone already

Deerhunter - Earthquake
Another new one. This time the opening track from the latest Deerhunter. Bradford Cox doesn't seem to have the capacity to make a bad record.

Andrew Bird - Fake Palindromes
I love this song, Andrew Bird's vocals are just sublime.

Rude Intervention - Bear Rug

Today we got given a brief to create an intervention in our studio, we had a day and were only really allowed to use paper mache so we made a bear rug to make the place feel more homely. I love my fucking degree.

Moving Image Brief - Close to Wide

>We were given a brief to create a very short film that starts with a close up and reveals something unexpected in the wide shot. This is what we came up with, It was really fun to do and I'm reasonably pleased with it, the sound still needs a bit of work thought.
